Howard Wiseman(Screenwriter, Director, Professor)
Wiseman is a Writers Guild of Canada award-winning screenwriter for his radio miniseries adaptation of Mordecai Richler’s “Barney’s Version.” He was nominated for a Gemini for adapting Richler’s novel, “St. Urbain’s Horseman” as a TV miniseries, and is a Gemini-nominated director (“EXHIBIT A”). He developed/ directed the pilot for the TV series “Masterminds” and over 25 episodic TV crime episodes. His feature comedy, “My Family Treasure,” was produced in Moscow. Howard is currently in development with three original screenplays from the Harold Greenberg FUND. “Shadowman,” a Tel Aviv Noir, is being developed with Israeli producer, Marek Rozenbaum (Transfax). Wiseman is an associate professor of screenwriting at York University in Toronto

Currently working on contemplative approaches to education and teaching private creative development workshops of stories for the screen, as well as other creative projects for live performance, and memoire, including hybrid fiction and non-fictional narrative.
