The purpose of this site is to provide an international hub for scholars, researchers, teachers and students who are working in the rapidly growing field of contemplative education. Its purpose is to facilitate contact, information sharing, collaboration on projects, mentoring students and a range of other activities. The site is designed so that you can register and post your information as well as search the site for colleagues and material that interests you. In addition, it provides a source of information and contacts for those interested in exploring the possibilities of this area of pedagogy and research but who are not yet registered. Both registration and searching are free and so we urge you to register and become a part of the growing and exciting contemplative education community.
To your right you will see the link to register. Once you fill out the form you will receive an email informing you that the site administrator needs to approve your account. Once approved, you will be able to log in and edit your profile and participate in discussions. When you register fill out the form as fully as possible in order to enable others who share your interests to find your work and contact you. As well as uploading your personal and professional information you can provide as many links as you wish to your websites, social media, publications and so forth. You can also update your page as new work or other information becomes available.
As a registered member you will be able to post notices. See the links to these on the left. You can post about upcoming events such as conferences as well as calls for submissions to events or publications. You can also publish notices of your new work. Once these become outdated, they will be stored in a searchable archive. You will find the search window at the top of the page.
We also anticipate starting an e-newsletter. As well, if there is an interest in doing so, members can set up newsletters available to members of their forum.
Over time we will add new features. We are always looking for suggestions as to how we can improve the site and make it more useful for you. Contact us with your suggestions by clicking on Contact Us.
