Veronique Tomaszewski


Ph.D.

Veronique T. teaches Social Aesthetics at York University. She applies an experiential and holistic approach to questions of social representation and (religious) identity. She is a Kalachakra practitioner and a Shambhala Warrior. Also trained in NVC and Restorative Circles, she leads Mindfulness workshops at Glendon College to connect mindfulness to students leadership.

Dr. Veronique Tomaszewski\\\'s research interest is about (visual and textual) spiritual practices and narratives that bridge theistic with non- theistic Eastern traditions; creating unique (social) aesthetic formations. Shambhala culture and community is an example of such new social aesthetics in the West.
