I received an MFA in Creative Writing from Lesley University and a PhD in Human Dimensions of Ecosystem Science and Management from Utah State University. Current research interests include the emotional geographies of activists, the usefulness of mindfulness practices in activist spaces, and the intersections of mindfulness and creative writing.
